Falls Skatepark
Who doesn't love a road trip to skate unexplored terrain? There
are several park gems in our surrounding areas that are often overlooked,
some for good reason.
The Niagara Falls park is a must see when you're driving around
to session new parks and spots. Located beside the Stamford
arena it officially opened in June 2005 and was made possible by
local skaters and community working together with city councilors.
It has a buttery smooth surface and plenty of open space so it rarely
feels over crowded. Hit the spined bowl for some serious speed
lines around the park, ledges, a variety of hips and rails for any
caliber of skater to enjoy.
Don't forget to say hi to the St. Catherine's rippers at the park
who are chill, and check out the local and closest shop, SUDskates
incase of any unfortunate board breakage...
DIRECTIONS
Take the QEW to Niagara Falls, exit at McLeod Rd, go right to Montrose
Rd, turn right... park is 100 yards up on the right.
