this section is good for some laughs and truth.
weeb if you're dumb enough to...
a) undercut shops
b) be too fucking stupid to do anything about your schooling (i dropped out of highschool and now go to uni in nyc)
c) think you're doing nothing wrong
THEN YOU'RE TOO FUCKING RETARDED TO RUN A SHOP, it would be the equivalent of michael vick running the aspca

yo richmond we got decks and stuff we're trying to move down at the baitshop, we can hook something up. you can also rip out some push-ups on the mini while you're here, or skate it if you want.

and where are these shop decks for $13.50? any manufacturer i've ever dealt with is usually twice that for a deck with a graphic.

i know selling blank decks is not the most glorious thing, but its making me money on the side to help me get to where i want to be.

a) you're not just undercutting shit shops, you're undercutting core shops too
b) thanks, plus i wouldn't waste my time if i were you, you're clearly an idiot
c) you still think it's ok to do, plus you're proving my b)

and the last point is true, you're too stupid to run a shop. i know it sucks to hear, but you could probably be a good janitor, but not the 'good will hunting' janitor, i mean the fucking retarded 'i clean up puke with sawdust' janitor.

Have you ever worked in a 1 man owned retail business before? Not a franchise or a chain. Just a 'mom and pop' type of store a 'core' store?

Fuck, you people throw the name "core" around way too much. Shit sounds lame, I guarantee that some of the shops in Toronto that you people say are "core" are completely not "core" at all.

There are only two legit shops in Toronto. Hammer and Baitshop.

Anyone who thinks skateshop owners make a "killing", needs to have their heads examined. I'd be surprised if skateshop owners are able to make a living at it. It's very tough, and those that are legitimately trying to make a go of it are likely doing it out of their passion and love of skateboarding, with the hope they can make a little money. I can assure you I could not pay my bills from generated sales from a skateshop, that I do know.

Support local shops, and support professional skateboarding.

Shred's been around longer than the Baitshop and Hammer. And that's despite the other unnamed skatepark owner's less-than-stellar behavior!

And I agree with Rob about the use of the word "core"... fucking lame!! Core was the name of a bike shop wasn't it?

A word like core, getting the meaning its getting on this message board for a re-tail business, should never be used like that. People who have worked in re-tail more than 3 years + are just really bitter people. You could walk in, get all the smiles you want from the people who work there - walk out and get trash talked for hours by all the people that work there. That's just one of the many reasons why re-tail is never 'core'. I could go into way more detail about how "core" stores sell out everyday too but I won't. At the end of the day, people who work in re-tail don't give a fuck. I'm working re-tail right now so I can pay bills but if I wasn't getting money in my bank account I would probably be taking a shit on certain customers lawns right now.

how come you keep saying "re-tail"?

it sounds like you're trying to pin the tail back onto Eeyore's arse.

i don't know what this thread is about so i'll just say this:

anorexia is the poor girl's bulimia.

and you guys say 'core' more than an effing bowflex commercial.
